【摘要】:1TheseBritishStandardscoverthedimensions,material,finish,testingandidentificationofaircraftstiffnutswithUnifiedthreads.Accordingtothematerialsusedintheirconstruction,thestiffnutsareclassifiedassatisfactoryforuseatsustainedtempera-tureswithinthefollowingranges:(a)-75℃to+425℃:corrosion-resistingsteelnuts,silverplatedorunplated(b)-75℃to+200℃:steelandcorrosion-resistingsteelnuts,cadmiumplated(c)-75℃to+125℃:aluminiumalloy,brassorbronzenuts.NOTE.Allnutsarecapableofremainingeffectiveforservicingoperationsat-40℃.2StiffnutsofthefollowingtypesarecoveredbytheseBritishStandards:(a)hexagonnuts:ordinary,thinandcap(b)anchornuts:(1)double-lugfixed:ordinary,thinandcap(2)double-lugfloating:ordinaryandthin(3)single-lugfixed:ordinaryandthin(c)stripnutsfloating:ordinaryandthin.3Inthesestandards,thenutbodies,whetherofnormalhexagonformornot,haveathreadstrengthasleastasgreatasthecorrespondingstandardnuts.
