【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversstandardfittinggeometriesformoldedshort-patternplasticfittingsintendedforuseindrain,waste,andventapplications.Fittingsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaredesignedforusewithoutside-diametercontrolledpipe.Thebodyinsidediametercanvarysignificantlyasthewallthicknessandoutsidediametervaries,andtherefore,isnotsuitableforuseasafittingsocket.FittingsmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationshallbetestedinaccordancewiththeapplicablerequirementsofSpecificationsD2661orD2665.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
