【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinestermsrelatingtogeodeticfieldinstrumentsonly,e.g.distancemeters,levels,theodolitesandothers,andtheiressentialcomponentpartswhicharenormallyusedinterrestrialmeasuringoperationsofordnancesurvey,topographicsurvey,planesurveyandengineeringsurvey.Thereforetermsconcerningfieldssuchasthefollowingarenotmentioned,e.g.photogrammetry,astronomy,hydrographicsurveyandindustrialmetrology.Accessorieswhicharenotnecessaryforthefunctioningoftheinstrumentsarenotdealtwith.ThetermsarearrangedinEnglishalphabeticalorder.Forpracticalreasons,termsinlightfacetypemarkedwithanasterisk(*)areexplainedonlyinanoteorinthecontextofthedefinitionofanotherterm.Thesetermscanalsobefoundinthealphabeticalindex.NOTEInadditiontotermsanddefinitionsusedintwoofthethreeofficialISOlanguages(EnglishandFrench),thisInternationalStandardgivestheequivalenttermsintheGermanlanguage;thesearepublishedundertheresponsibilityofthememberbodyforGermany(DIN).However,onlythetermsanddefinitionsgivenintheofficiallanguagescanbeconsideredasISOtermsanddefinitions.
